Atar Livneh received her B.A. in Communication and Ofakim from the University of Haifa (honors program) and her M.A. from the University of Haifa in Biblical Studies (Dead Sea Scrolls). Her Ph.D (2011) consists of an edition and commentary to the Qumran exegetical composition known as “Pseudo-Jubilees.”
Her 2010/2011 post-doctoral study at the University of Notre Dame centered upon the Book of Jubilees, her current post-doctoral project at Center for the Research of the Dead Sea Scrolls at the University of Haifa/ the Orion Center for the Study of the Dead Sea Scrolls and Associated Literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem  focusing on the theme of “family in Second Temple Jewish Writings.”
