Dr. Romina Vergari

Post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Biblical Studies of the University of Haifa, under the supervision of Dr. Jonathan Ben-Dov.
She obtained her Ph.D. in Linguistics at the University of Perugia (2010), defending a dissertation entitled: Dynamic Representation of a Lexical Field. Survey of "Law" Nouns in Biblical Greek. Thesis advisors: Prof. Luciano Agostiniani (Chair of Glottology at the University of Perugia) and Prof. Ida Zatelli (Chair of Hebrew Language and Literature at the University of Florence).
Her current research interests focus on Lexical Semantics, Contrastive Semantics, Septuagint Lexicography.
